WREKTACULAR 45th Anniversary Benefit Concert: the Purkinje Shift, Magicicada, Cicada Rhythm, Good Golly Svengali

When: Sat., March 30, 9 p.m. 2013

On March 25, 1968, WREK (91.1 FM) signed on the air for the first time. Since then, Georgia Tech's student-run college radio station has broadcasted a diverse range of music, including rock, jazz, and countless other genres. On Sat., March 30, WREKsters will celebrate 45 years of existence with a benefit show. Four local acts — the Purkinje Shift, Magicicada, Cicada Rhythm, Good Golly Svengali — will all take the Drunken Unicorn's stage to commemorate the station.
