Few visual artists have done more to keep Hurricane Katrina on the minds of Atlantans than sculptor and mixed-media artist Corrina Sephora Mensoff. More than a year after the curatorial grand slam of The Bridge 2006 at B Complex, Mensoff launches a new body of deluge-themed work in RESCUE VEHICLES AND THE SOULS OF THE SOUTH at House of Colors Gallery, continuing Mon., AUG. 11. Inspired by the sight of a lone boat tethered to a telephone pole, Mensoff has found the perfect excuse to riff on the boat form that has been inspiring her work for years. Ten percent of sales go to the Renaissance Project, an organization dedicated to the continuing reconstruction of New Orleans. Through Oct. 24. Free. Mon.-Sat., 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. 690 Miami Circle, Suite 700. 404-233-6738. houseofcolorsgallery.com.
