He is the Renaissance man of Renaissance art. LEONARDO DA VINCI: HAND OF A GENIUS features more than 20 sketches, plans for sculpture, and works by artists that da Vinci influenced and drew influences from, including Donatello's "Bearded Prophet," which has never before been seen outside of Florence, Italy. If you can't wait until Tues., OCT. 6, for the grand opening, whet your appetite with a lecture, "What Should a Sculpture by Leonardo da Vinci Look Like?" at the High Museum of Art's Fulton County Free Saturday on OCT. 3. Exhibition curator Gary Radke discusses how art historians have tried to reconstruct da Vinci's sculptural production and presents arguments for attributing two previously unrecognized figures to the master. Through Feb. 21. Free-$18. Lecture, 2 p.m.; Tues.-Wed., Fri.-Sat., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thurs., 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sun., noon-5 p.m. 1280 Peachtree St. 404-733-5000. www.high.org.
