A 32-year-old Atlanta woman walked into the laundry room at her apartment complex. She saw that a man had taken her clothes out of the dryer and put them on a chair next to where he was sitting.

The man was wearing make-up, a tan sweater, black high heels and no pants. The woman walked up to the man and grabbed her clothes from him. The man fled the scene and drove away in either a Camaro or a Firebird. The woman called police and told the officer the man had stolen her sweater, underwear and other items from the dryer.

A 46-year-old Duluth man parked his car and went to a bar on Roswell Road. When he returned, he saw two men, one of whom was missing several teeth, rummaging through his vehicle.

When he confronted the two men, the man with missing teeth punched him in the face. A scuffle ensued and the second burglar told the man he'd better leave or he would be cut. The second burglar was reaching into his pocket just as a police officer approached the scene. Both men fled.

The officer chased the men and found one of them hiding in a Dumpster. The 24-year-old Atlanta man had to be forcibly removed from the Dumpster and was arrested for aggravated assault.

The stolen items -- chewing gum and a bottle of cologne --were returned to the Duluth man. The man with the missing teeth escaped.

A 30-year-old Atlanta woman was arguing with her boyfriend, a 37-year-old Decatur man, as they drove on Roswell Road. When the woman told her boyfriend that she wanted to get out of the car, he said, "Bitch, if you want out, jump!"

But then the man pulled over and the woman got out of the vehicle. He grabbed the woman by the neck and punched her in the face several times, knocking four of her bottom teeth loose.

A 42-year-old Alpharetta man began to argue with a 31-year-old Alpharetta woman because she works at a strip club and he believes she is on drugs. The fight escalated and the two began to push each other.

Then the man took a swing at the woman just as her boyfriend stepped between the two of them. The punch hit the boyfriend in the left eye. The boyfriend wrestled the man to the ground and put him in a headlock as the woman hit him in the head with the handle of a vacuum cleaner.

The confrontation dissipated briefly, but then the man and the woman began to argue again and the man charged at her and punched her in the face.

The woman's boyfriend stepped in again and they began to fight. The police were called and the man and the woman were charged with simple battery and were taken to jail. The boyfriend also was charged with simple battery, but was released.

A 27-year-old Atlanta man answered a knock on the door of his Roswell Road apartment and saw four gunmen. The man tried to shut the door, but the four men forced their way in and put a gun to his head.

They took him upstairs to the bedroom where his nieces were staying. The intruders tied up the man with electrical cord and pistol-whipped him. The gunmen told the man's nieces to give them all the money or they would kill the man. The women gave the men $430 and jewelry and the burglars fled.

The police were called to a fitness gym on Roswell Road when the gym's patrons noticed two men with binoculars in a truck in the parking lot. The men were watching people work out.

A police officer pulled up to the vehicle and saw the driver put something under the seat. He asked the 49-year-old Acworth man to step out of the vehicle. The man's pants were undone and were held up only by his belt. The officer asked the man what he was doing. He said he was just watching people work out. The passenger said the same thing and both were arrested for prowling.

In the vehicle, the officer found a pornographic magazine, binoculars and a specimen bottle under the seat.
