Theater: Zanna, Don't!

Sun., May 17

Every day is opposite day in Actor's Express' musical romp ZANNA, DON'T! While the title sounds like a goof on Olivia Newton-John's Xanadu, the musical by Tim Acito and Alexander Dinerlaris depicts Heartsville High School, where everyone's gay except for the secret straights. Artistic director Freddie Ashley directs a cast of eight that includes choreographer Ricardo Aponte, who also plays Zanna, the school's magical matchmaker. Through June 20. $12-$35. Wed.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 5 p.m. 887 W. Marietta St. 404-607-7469.
