The chimps are down in the world premiere of HOMINID, an adaptation of Chimpanzee Politics: Power and Sex Among Apes by renowned primatologist Frans de Waal, director of the Living Links Center at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center. A co-production by Theater Emory and the often uproarious Out of Hand Theater, Hominid explores "a modern-day Macbeth" involving primate behavior at a zoo in Holland. Ariel de Man directs an impressive cast that includes Carolyn Cook, Chris Kayser, Adam Fristoe and Matt Huff. Through Nov. 22. $6-$18. Thurs.-Sat., 7 p.m.; Sun., 2 p.m. Mary Gray Munroe Theater, Dobbs University Center, 605 Asbury Circle. 404-727-5050. www.outofhandtheater.com.
