Actor's Express' world-premiere production of FAIR USE depicts a gender-bending romantic triangle against the backdrop of a high-profile case at a law firm. If the plot sounds a little like "Ally McBeal," know that Sarah Gubbins' comedy was a 2009 finalist in the Alliance Theatre's prestigious Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Competition. Actor's Express artistic director Freddie Ashley directs John Benzinger, Rachel Garner, Park Krausen, Laura Krueger and Tony Larkin. Coincidentally, Megan Gogerty, whose Kendeda runner-up Love Jerry was produced by Actor's Express in 2006, opens her one-woman show Hillary Clinton Got Me Pregnant at Synchronicity Theatre the same day. Fair Use: Through Dec. 5. $15-$35. Wed.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 5 p.m. 887 W. Marietta St. 404-607-7469. www.actors-express.com. Hillary Clinton Got Me Pregnant: Through Nov. 22. $15-$23. Thurs.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 7 p.m. 1105 Euclid Ave. 404-484-8636. www.synchrotheatre.com.
