A legacy of violence. Accusations, delusions, and lies. Is killing in the genes? Based on Aeschylus' Oresteia, a son must choose between parents, and do an unspeakable wrong for the right reason. In the nightmare of living with his act, Orestes discovers the truth about his family and a promise of peace. This staged reading is part of Working Title Playwrights' Ethel Woolson Lab which brings together the top playwrights, directors, and actors in the Atlanta theatre community for meaningful collaboration in the creation of new, full-length plays for the stage.
