The Plaza Theatre hosts a special screening of the love-gone-so-wrong cult classic SID AND NANCY alongside an art show featuring an extensive and rare collection of punk-rock fliers from the early '80s and '90s, opening Tues., FEB. 3. Before the heyday of computers, promoters had to get crafty to spread the word about local shows. The Plaza is paying tribute to that special time – when copy and paste actually referred to something that required scissors and glue – by showing more than 100 fliers that feature bands such as the Ramones, Black Flag and Bad Brains at venues across the Southeast, including a few of Atlanta's long-lost favorites: the Metroplex, 688 and the Point, among others. $9.50. 8 p.m. Exhibit: Through March 2. Additional film screening Feb. 6, 9:30 p.m. Plaza Theatre, 1049 Ponce de Leon Ave. 404-873-1939. www.plazaatlanta.com.
