Nine Inch Nails, City Skies Fest and more

The second annual CITY SKIES ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL returns to Kavarna for three days of drones, chirps, noise, rhythms and surfing the sine wave. This year the festival features an impressive lineup of expert knob-twiddlers and space travelers from around the country unleashing a barrage of sounds. Performers include Duet for Theremin and Lapsteel, Broken Symmetry, Masik, Richard Lainhart, Don Hassler and Richard Devine & Joshua Kay, along with several others. Through May 9. $10-$30. Thurs.-Fri., 7 p.m.; Sat., noon. 707 E. Lake Drive, Decatur. 770-335-7445. (Chad Radford)

May 10 Sunday

NINE INCH NAILS are back on the road following last year's megawatt Lights in the Sky Tour. Teaming up with old buds and newly reformed JANE'S ADDICTION for the first time since 1991, the industrial kings still have a few tricks up their sleeves, but expect to see a much more scaled-down production this go-around. There's been talk that Nine Inch Nails will go on hiatus after this tour, so catch them while you can. $25-$99. 7 p.m. Lakewood Amphitheatre, 2002 Lakewood Way. 404-443-5000. (Alicia Wages)
