Organ-banging swamp-boogie madman Quintron (Robert Rolston) is a basement inventor who wields broken keyboards and beat-up drum machines, churning out an unpredictable pastiche that reflects his offbeat hipster swagger. He's joined by his better half, Miss Pussycat, who performs an extraordinary puppet show, while lending vocals on occasion. Their sweet lyrical innocence recalls Jonathan Richman with a touch of New Orleans flair. Their latest, 2011's Sucre Du Savage (Goner), was recorded in the New Orleans Museum of Art.
