Marshall Seese's style is unlike any other. He began playing guitar at age twelve, but held the instrument upside down and backwards because it felt more natural. His music is unique in that he successfully blends a variety of genres, from soul to pop, blues to funk to form his own approach to music that has been compared to Maroon 5, Jeff Buckley and John Mayer. After forming in 2004, Marshall Seese and his band released the album, “Perfect Little View.” He now has a revamped image and a stage name, Mars. He was voted Best Singer/Songwriter by Creative Loafing.
