It wouldn't be inaccurate to call Janet Jacme -- an actress with 13 years' worth of adult films under her belt -- a porn legend. After more than one decade of sensual success in California, Jacme recently packed up and moved her erotic enterprises to the A-T-L. We know 'cause we spotted her at a grocery store.
Jacme has worked in the adult film industry since 1993, but she doesn't exactly know how many movies she's made. "I have no idea," she admits. "I say 100, but other people say 200, 300, 400, 500 or 600. But that's because they take one movie and turn it into [several] movies."
She opened her own film production and Web design company, Janet Jacme Entertainment, because "everybody else was doing it."
Although she's been filmed partaking in a host of varied sex acts, Jacme had not performed a girl-on-girl scene until this year. "I was never particularly into females. Looking at them was nice, but I didn't want to just do it for the money. And it wasn't that much money," she says. "But I'm more comfortable with women now. And hey, it's for my production company."
Jacme also works as a touring featured dancer and appears at strip clubs across the country. In her spare time, the self-described homebody sits around and watches non-porn movies.
Jacme says the key to her longevity in the porn biz is keeping it real. "I'm not acting. I can't say that enough," she says. "I cater to men who like to see women enjoying sex, not just lying there."
