Way back in 1993, when the Geto Boys named their fifth album Till Death Do Us Part, they weren't lying. Scarface, Willie D, and Bushwick Bill — the classic lineup of Houston's foul-mouthed, confrontational hardcore gangsta rappers — are together and touring again. These dudes wrote the words to classics like "My Mind is Playing Tricks on Me," "City Under Siege," and "Damn It Feels Good to Be a Gangsta." While most of the Geto Boys' Reagan/Bush/Clinton-era peers have fallen to the wayside, these guys are still walking the walk. See the assassins on stage and in the flesh at their long-awaited quasi reunion tour at Center Stage on Fri., Sept. 27, when they blast some of the most controversial hip-hop ever made.
