What goes together better than silent film and soothing jazz tunes? Bandleader Dan Nettles of Kenosha Kid blends the two at the STEAMBOAT BILL JR. music/film event. Sensual, jazzy tunes flow along to Buster Keaton's 1928 silent classic of the same name, where Keaton is forced into river-boating by his ill-natured father. Kenosha Kid has been playing for more than 10 years and is known for interweaving film, music and photography at the live shows. Free. 9 p.m. Eyedrum Art & Music Gallery, 290 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Suite 8. 404-522-0655. www.eyedrum.org.
