If Limp Bizkit and Lincoln Park hit head-on at 100-plus mph, FF5 is what would crawl out of the wreckage. The only difference is the undeniable redneck-esque quality the three brothers and two friends have perfected growing up in the dirty dirty. Tracks such as "Kountry Gentlemen" and "Love Addict" speak for themselves, pretty much playing off of the titles. With some of the fastest lip-jawin' this side of the Mississippi, the impromptu family rips through a contortion of funk, synth, hip-hop, and old-fashioned rock 'n' roll (dubbed "crunk rock"). FF5 is set to balloon out of the South and envelop preadolescent suburban thugs nationwide. *****
Family Force 5 plays the Roxy Theatre Thurs., Nov. 15. 8 p.m. $13.
