TOMÁŠ KUBÍNEK left the turmoil of his native Prague at the tender age of 3, when he and his family fled the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia. He ended up in Canada's great white north, where he saw his first circus and never looked back. Since then, Kubínek's incorporated a hodgepodge of fare – encompassing elderly magicians, a Brazilian clown duo, and guerilla-style absurdist theater sketches for HBO alongside "The Kids in the Hall" writer Frank van Keeken – and masterfully whittled his zany experiments down into an aptly titled one-man show, "Certified Lunatic and Master of the Impossible." $13-$55. 8 p.m. 80 Rialto Center, Forsyth St. 404-413-9849. www.rialtocenter.org.
