When: Thu., Nov. 3, 8 p.m. 2011

Shot in black and white on antique 35mm film, Claire is Atlanta filmmaker Milford Thomas' homage to silent film. Inspired by the Japanese fable “Kaguyahime,” Thomas' version follows a 1920s rural, male couple who find and adopt a charming girl from the moon. As always, the film will be accompanied by composer and conductor Anne Richardson's 11-piece "Orchestra de Lune." Thomas, along with many of the cast and crew, will be on hand for this special 10th anniversary screening of Claire. (Kathryn McBroom)
