It seems like other cities' museums are perpetually reminding Atlanta of how much more we need to do to spotlight contemporary work.
Charlotte's Mint Museum is hosting a solo show devoted to Atlanta resident and Korean-born artist Jiha Moon (married to Andy Moon Wilson, whose work is currently on view at Get This! Gallery).
Jiha Moon will be featured at the museum Feb. 2-July 6, 2008, in VantagePoint VII - Jiha Moon: Turbulent Utopia.
Moon's work has shown locally at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center and Saltworks Gallery, and her influences are described at the Thinking About Art blog here.
