Theater Emory's Back to Methuselah

The head-spinning, time-tripping fantasia Back to Methuselah has been staged scarcely a dozen times since George Bernard Shaw wrote it eight decades ago. But last fall, an undaunted ensemble of eager drama students and Atlanta professionals (including Chris Kayser and Tom Key) tackled the show, which, lasting more than six-and-a-half hours over two nights and taking place from the Garden of Eden to the year 31,920 A.D., proved an ambitious event hard to forget or recover from.
