Kate Donadio

Staff Pick

With a one-line role in last year’s Oscar-nominated The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Atlanta actress KATE DONADIO signaled that she’s poised for big things. Though still young, she’s proven herself to be an increasingly versatile and insightful performer. Two recent plays in particular showcased her diversity. In Theatre in the Square’s Tradin’ Paint, Donadio played the tough yet feminine boss of a stock car pit crew and found an appealing spin on a familiar type. In Actor’s Express’ Suddenly, Last Summer, she took the well-known role of Catharine Holly and turned a frequently victimized character into something of a femme fatale. As daughter of local actors Shannon Eubanks and James Donadio, she disproves the adage that talent skips a generation.
