We the "edgy" alternative weekly are supposed to rage in the face of all things corporate, skewering the establishment at every turn. That said, we'll risk being called a sellout and give props to BARNES & NOBLE
for bringing something new to the city. It was a group of B&N community relations managers who made this year's Atlanta Literary Festival possible. Barnes & Noble stayed on board as a major sponsor, even as festival organizers invited competing bookstores to take part in programming. So boo to the store's Borg-like presence, but hooray for boosting the city's literary profile.
