When: Sun., March 17, 2 p.m. 2013
Holocaust Survivor Benjamin Hiller will be speaking on Sunday, March 17 at 2pm at the Breman Museum in midtown. In the bitter winter of 1940, young Benjamin Hiller escaped from the Warsaw Ghetto through a hole in the wall. Without asking his parents’ permission, or even saying goodbye, he embarked on a dangerous mission. All that he had seen and experienced since the beginning of the war convinced this brave 14-year-old Polish-Jewish boy to risk everything in an attempt to save himself and his family.
