When: Tuesdays-Fridays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Continues through Aug. 31 2013
Alex Brewer long ago evolved from simply HENSE in spray paint on abandoned buildings. The former Atlanta graffiti artist has become a muralist of massive scale, most recently transforming mind-bogglingly massive buildings in Peru and Washington, D.C., with his distinct style of hyper-colorful mark-making and painting. For his next gallery show, opening Fri., June 7, at Sandler Hudson Gallery, Brewer returns to much smaller forms, showing works on paper that fit on normal-size gallery walls. An opening reception gets started at 7 p.m.
